To date, he has published over 270 papers, with total citations exceeding 52,500 and an H-index of 109 (Google Scholar). His scientific achievements have earned him the National University of Singapore Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine Research Excellence Award (2007 and 2015), Researcher of the Year Award (2019), and the Best Mentor Award (2019). Dr Shen currently serves as Associate Editor of Autophagy and as an editorial board member for several other international academic journals.
Section 2: Research Interests and Grants
Prof Shen’s main research areas include autophagy and tumor cell biology, with a focus on mitophagy, glucose metabolism and cancer precision therapy.
